Who we are
Yoga Dodu ("we", "us") provides private yoga sessions at homes and workplaces. [CHOOSE: registered business name], [CHOOSE: registered address], decides why and how your personal data is used. You can reach us at hello@yogadodu.com.
What we collect
- Details you give us when you enquire: your name, city, the service you are interested in, your preferred time, and any message.
- Your phone number or email address when you message, call or email us, including through WhatsApp.
- Health information, only if you choose to share it, so a teacher can adapt a session safely (for example an injury, pregnancy or a doctor's advice).
- Basic technical logs kept by our website host, such as your IP address and the pages requested.
This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this page first.
How enquiries work
The enquiry form on the Contact page opens WhatsApp with your details already typed in. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. Messages you send there are also handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
Why we use your data
- To reply to you and arrange an intro conversation.
- To match you with a teacher, schedule sessions and take payment.
- To teach safely, using any health information you have chosen to share.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
We ask for your consent to use your data for these purposes when you contact us. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who sees it
Your details are shared only with the teacher assigned to you and with service providers we need to run the business, such as messaging, email, payment and accounting tools. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for [CHOOSE: retention period, for example 12 months after your last session] and then delete or anonymise them, unless the law requires us to keep records longer.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to. To do any of this, or to raise a complaint, write to our grievance contact: [CHOOSE: name and role], hello@yogadodu.com. If we do not resolve your complaint you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Sessions for anyone under 18 are booked by, and need the consent of, a parent or guardian. We handle a child's data only with that consent.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Effective from [CHOOSE: date].
